Una confirmación de la tendencia, cada año, aunque con pequeñas variaciones. Por ejemplo, uno de los sectores que tuvo mayor crecimiento durante el año fue el de la venta y compra de autopartes durante el primer trimestre del año. Mientras que la compra de llantas y suspensiones aumentó previo a los periodos vacacionales, puentes y días de descanso.
Las categorías de tecnología y electrónica, con privilegio a celulares y laptops, fueron lo más buscados en los últimos meses del año. En lo que se refiere a efectos personales, las compras electrónicas de calzado, bolsas y perfumes, desplazaron a la ropa. También hubo inversiones importantes en colchones, salas y herramientas.
Durante el Buen Fin y el período navideño se acentuó de manera exponencial la búsqueda de artículos tecnológicos en Google.
El comercio electrónico es uno de los mercados con mayor escala de crecimiento en México. De acuerdo con Statista, de los 7.19 millones de consumidores digitales que se esperan en 2017, la cifra crecerá hasta los 14.88 millones para 2021. Este mercado fértil abre una oportunidad para las marcas que ya no sólo apuestan en mercados offline para encontrar en la dimensión digital. Ahora, los grandes etailers y retailers avecindados en el país o nativos del norte y sureste mexicano, tienen que integrarse a esta tendencia por medio de una sustancial transformación digital.

Teléfonos celulares. Samsung S7 Edge y el Sony Xperia Z5 son los favoritos de los mexicanos.
Computadoras. HP AMD de 15.6 pulgadas (8GB RAM , 500GB).
Electrónicos. La venta de televisores sigue a la alza.
Colchones. El Queen Size “no vuelta”, modelo anti ácaros de Restonic (sus anuncios de radio han surtido efecto, por lo visto, aunado a las promociones en línea), fue el más comprado.
Llantas. Firestone; modelo Firehawk 900 225/50 R17 fue el más vendido.
Calzado. Los tenis de diferentes marcas, tanto para correr y entrenar.

Perfumes. De marcas originales y de etiqueta comercial.
Salas. Sala Ivanna de Inlab muebles fue la más solicitada.
